Honoured Members

Over the years, many dedicated JPs have contributed time and effort as members of the Association. In doing so they have helped to make the Association a vibrant and valuable community organisation.

Under our Constitution, the Association can recognise dedicated members with life membership. Life members have shown an extraordinary commitment to the Association over a significant period of time and have contributed in a manner that:

  • results in substantial, demonstrable and positive changes to the Association, and
  • required substantial and commendable personal input.

Many of our honorary life members were foundation members of the Association. The following members have been granted honorary life membership:

In 2010, we introduced the Certificate of Appreciation for valuable and exemplary service to the community and Association as a member for twenty years.

Under the Association’s Constitution, the question of who should be Patron must be considered each year at the Annual General Meeting.

Our current Patrons are former Chief Magistrate Lorraine Walker and Mr Bernard Collaery.
