ACT Government (Access Canberra and the Justice and Community Safety Directorate)

Access Canberra has regulatory authority for the administration of the ACT Justices of the Peace Act and related functions. The Office coordinates the appointment of persons as Justices of the Peace and maintains a public register of JPs in the ACT. The Justice and Community Safety Directorate provides advice on legal and practice matters relating to Justices of the Peace.

Canberra Rubber Stamps and Signs

CRS is a long-standing advertiser in Justice Matters and has been supplying the ACT’s JPs with a range of rubber stamps to suit their needs. Visit them at 49 Townsville Street, Fyshwick or their website.

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs

FaHCSIA helps to support volunteers, by providing programs and services, and grants and funding for volunteer-based organisations. The Association received funding from FaHCSIA under the Volunteer Grants 2011 program.

ACT Office of Multicultural Affairs

For a number of years the ACTJPA was privileged to receive a grant through the ACT Multicultural Grants Program. This grant assisted the Association to provide seminars for the ongoing education of ACT JPs, to provide a member scholarship and to partially meet costs associated with the newsletter.
