Our first Members’ Seminar for 2022 will be on Saturday 19 February commencing at 10.00am – finishing 12.00pm. It will be held at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Woden. There is free parking on Saturdays in the large carpark just across the road from the venue.
This seminar will give you an opportunity to sharpen your skills and share your experiences. A range of JP tasks will be discussed. In particular we will look at the JP’s role in respect of the ACT self – represented land titles process; Qld Land titles; statutory declarations; and any questions on either practice among JPs or the Association. If you have any particular topic, scenario or points you would like discussed or to share, please let us know so it can be included in the preparation notes etc. Naturally any aspect of the JP role can be raised on the day too.

Attendance by Zoom on line will also be available – after registration for this option you will be sent the applicable link for the seminar.
The Seminar will be followed by a Luncheon, also at the Canberra Southern Cross Club – separate registration for this is required by 11 February. The luncheon is a great opportunity to enjoy each other’s company in a social setting. You will need to register separately for the lunch.
Please note, we may need to limit in-person attendance numbers due to Covid-19 restrictions. Attendees need to be Covid-vaccinated. We will apply ACT Health directions, including (if required) wearing masks.
