Our next Members’ Seminar is on Saturday 22 June. Renovations at our usual location have prompted a relocation – for this time only – to the Australian Catholic University on Antill Street Watson. The seminar will be in Room 1.20, Level 1, Building 301 (Veritas Building).
We will start at 1.30 pm and aim to be finished by 3.00pm. The seminar Guest Speaker will be Greg Gebhart from the Office of the eSafety Commissioner. Greg will give us some interesting points to consider via a Webinar.
Please note that this seminar will be preceded by a brief Special General Meeting for the sole purpose of voting on a motion to amend the ACT JPA Constitution. The motion seeks to amend our membership rules to include membership to any person who was an ACT JPA Ordinary Member and has now retired from their appointment as a Justice of the Peace. This aspect should not take long – albeit allowing for due process for discussion and voting on the motion.
